Dean Holcomb is an artist with a God-given talent. He combines color, shape, and line to create a unique work of art each time he puts pencil to paper. Dean began sketching as a young boy and over his 67 years, has taught himself the tricks of the trade, as well as cultivating a personal expression of the beauty of God's creation. Mr. Holcomb has always loved nature and gardening and his work reflects this love of natural beauty from the simplest leaf to a grand sunset. His medium of choice is pastel, which he uses to craft subtly realistic visual celebrations of the world around him. Dean retired to Tucson, AZ about 3 years ago. When he is not drawing he enjoys spending time with his family, taking drives into the desert, and reading.
