Anybody that knows my mom, knows that there would be no need to explain why she deserves to win this contest. My mom is the most selfless person I know, so much so, that she never takes the time to relax and decompress from the weight of all the stress she shoulders everyday. For this reason I believe that she deserves to win this contest.
Currently my brother is battling a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. Of course this is devastating to the whole family, but it has taken a huge toll on my mother. She has lost 50 lbs. just from the emotional stress of my brother's illness. She diligently stands by my brother's side through his many treatments.
Mom is also a very dedicated Nana! She has 3 grandsons and another one on the way. They are the sunshine in her life and she loves spending as much time with them as she can. She will drop everything and come running anytime we need her to watch them! Her family is her life and there isn't anything she wouldn't do or give to make them happy!
Mom never hesitates to place her needs on the back burner to lend a hand to whomever may need it. She gives of herself to the point that she leaves little time or money for herself. It is for these and many more reasons I nominate my mom for this contest. This a wonderful opportunity to show her how much we love and appreciate her and everything she does for us!
